The CLHIA provided its comments to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) on the Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors. In the submission, the CLHIA agreed with the SEC’s current proposal to allow Canadian insurers under the Multijurisdictional Disclosure System to continue to use Canadian disclosure requirements.
