Date de parution : 05/03/2021 Personne(s)-ressource(s) : Sarah HobbsThe CLHIA provides its views to the Government of Canada on Canada’s possible accession to the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA). The agreement’s current signatories include Chile, New Zealand, and Singapore. Given the importance of the digital economy to Canada’s international operations and the economic success that stems from technological advances, the industry supports Canada’s accession to the DEPA. Further to this, we encourage the Government to consider expanding the provisions in the DEPA to include financial services.
