Release Date: 08/12/2025
Staff Reference: Information

(Toronto, August 12, 2025) – Air Canada’s flight attendants have voted to provide their union with a mandate to strike if an agreement cannot be reached. No job action can take place prior to August 16, 2025.

In the event of a disruption, trip cancellation policyholders are strongly encouraged to contact Air Canada for information about refunds or other accommodations prior to submitting a claim with your insurer.

If you have purchased travel insurance, please review your policy to see if the benefits provided in it cover losses that are not covered by the airline or other travel suppliers.

Disputes over refunds and credits should be directed to your travel service provider, transportation carrier, or the Canadian Transportation Agency.
