Who We Are
The CLHIA, established in 1894, is a voluntary association with member companies which account for 99 per cent of Canada's life and health insurance business.
The life and health insurance industry is a significant economic and social contributor in Manitoba. It protects about 1 million Manitoba residents and makes benefit payments of over $2.2 billion a year to residents in the province. In addition, the life and health insurance industry has almost $19 billion invested in Manitoba’s economy.
